Curt Siffert
Curt Siffert has a habit of writing sophisticated pop songs with jazz-influenced harmonies and a narrative voice that can only be described as American. After receiving a college degree in classical piano, Curt spent ten years away from the piano gathering life experience and exploring musical pursuits such as media scoring, a cappella performing, and classical orchestration. With the arrival of his prized, brand new natural cherry grand piano, Curt reacquainted himself with his old curiosity in jazz piano and singing, and several months of exploration yielded a refreshing original sound that mixes american storytelling, intriguing harmonies, and a touch of classical virtuosity.
While Curt works on his first album, he brings a songwriter’s perspective to the Acoustic Conversations program, and he’s fascinated to learn about all the different ways independent songwriters make their way through the industry.
