Listen to Ep 01: Dolorean -- Click Here Now!
In our first episode, we sit down with Al James from Dolorean to talk about the recent release of their fourth album, "You Can't Win". Al plays four tracks off the new album for us. Individual downloads will be available soon from this site!
We're not live on iTunes quite yet, and the site is under MAJOR moderate construction (as you can probably tell). But we wanted to get this show to you as quickly as we could cut it together before Dolorean hits their early summer tour. Pick up the new album and catch up with Al and the band over at Dolorean.com.
Hello
Thanks for sharing!
Interview with Al James
Just wanted to say Hi and thanks for this great interview. I've been a Dolorean fan since a chance meeting with Al at a Brian Wilson concert in 2005 (I followed up on their music afterwards and it really struck a chord with me) - I've been fortunate to see them play a few times too. I really admire the way Al bravely follows his own path even though it may not be the most obvious or commercial thing to do. Ultimately the quality of the songs and the performances speak for themselves and I'm really pleased to see that "You Can't Win" seems to be bringing in great reviews and a wider audience. Thanks for making this interview available, I found it really interesting and look forward to hearing more and maybe discovering more music from similar artists - Cheers Pete (UK)
Al James
Thanks, Pete. You're so right, and that's exactly what impresses me about Al's music. He's got so many stories in his head and such a passion to tell them through his music. "You Can't Win" is garnering such reviews because it's honest, it portrays a real sense of human life. Glad to hear you enjoyed our conversation. We've got some great new acts coming up in the coming weeks so please, stay tuned!
